Bird hide overlooking waterhole

Peaceful Observation

Bird Hide & Bird Watching

A quiet retreat for serious and casual birders alike

Our bird hide offers a peaceful sanctuary for observing the remarkable bird life of the Garden Route. Positioned overlooking a waterhole, it provides excellent opportunities to watch birds going about their daily routines undisturbed.

The hide is particularly rewarding early in the morning and late afternoon when bird activity peaks. Watch red and yellow bishops display their vibrant plumage during breeding season, and observe water birds feeding and bathing.

It's a tranquil spot to spend an hour or two with your binoculars, perfect for photographers seeking that perfect shot or simply for quiet contemplation of nature.
